We all had one, some of us love our Fathers, some unfortunately hate them. But Fathers are such a large part of our lives, how can you not think of them, especially today.
You are a Father:
Great day, even your kids that forget about you, show how much they love you.
Just another day if you weren’t there for your kids.
For some of you, no matter how screwed up you are, they will try to connect with you.
Some of you shouldn’t show up today, thats about the worst thing you could do.
You are the person that live the greeting card words.
You are a dead Father:
Memories, because this is all everyone has now.
Maybe any small disappointments are forgiven.
Any larger disappointments get a shoulder shrug, wishing that there was more time to not have them.
Here is where you realize its too late baby, now its too late (Carole King).
All you could contribute is your sperm?
Maybe you are giving someone a chance to experience parenthood.
Abusive father…you are not worth anymore words then these.
Not a Father:
So maybe your not a father yet or maybe you will never be for whatever reason.
Will I be a father?
Will I be a good father?
I will never be a father.
I wanted to be a father.
I have learned to hate the word uncle.
I’m glad I am just an uncle.
My nieces and nephews are the closest thing to having my own children and I am so happy to have them.
Now I didn’t think of doing this until later, however maybe it’s best, because your day at this point has either started and your enjoying the hugs, or your crying. And maybe you will start to become a better person no matter what your situation is. And remember, for blogging out loud))Fathers day is every day, the celebration only comes when you built up enough days, enough hugs, enough kisses, enough parenting.
by the way this article will be shown on Mothers day, because everything I have here stands for that day also.))
