For blogging out loud)) Is there no place in our system that is clear and void of bias? Can we not as adults and professionals value our position in life as an example of how our world is supposed to work. So that children one day can be lead by example instead of what they read about in, at this point, a fictional history book?
My tirade comes from our judges and the most recent ruling by the Hawaii judge Derrick Kahala Watson who decided that he will play President and halt President Trump’s lawful travel ban.
So this judge is deciding on our safety and he obviously has a left wing bias.
We also found out that he was Obama’s Harvard Law School classmate and supposedly Obama was in Hawaii the day that his ruling came down.
This of course came after the first objection from the 9th circuit court.
The American Bar Association (ABA) states:
Judges are like umpires in baseball or referees in football or basketball. Their role is to see that the rules of court procedures are followed by both sides. Like the ump, they call ’em as they see ’em, according to the facts and law—without regard to which side is popular (no home field advantage), without regard to who is “favored,” without regard for what the spectators want, and without regard to whether the judge agrees with the law.
This bias of course is felt by our students who are being taught by very liberal biased teachers, luckily some of the students are seeing it.
Their history books can’t be relied on for accurate unbiased information. As noted by Michael H. Romanowski here:
History classes must begin to use strategies that identify and challenge biases found in textbooks, and develop ethical frameworks based on justice and equality that students and teachers can use to interpret and evaluate American history.
“…interpret and evaluate American history.” Do the kids need that extra burden? That’s what we do at ForBloggingOutLoud)), believe me it’s not fun.
Our main stream media (MSM), oh I don’t want to start with them again. But if you want to read: Trust the media? or do a search for “Media” on fboLoud.com enjoy yourself.
To all people who are responsible for their kids, or someone else’s, how dare you not tell them the unbiased truth. Think of this when you ask them to be honest about where they were, or what they did. You are the artist sculpting this child and how you mold them is up to you. Let this kid be an energetic, full of life person that has the confidence that his elders helped them become a good honest person.
Back to Judge Watson, I want to replace him with IBM’s Watson, much more efficient in finding out what the law is as opposed to what Derrick thinks it should be.
The Watson computer can evaluate 80 trillion operations per SECOND! It accesses 200 million pages of information. Six million logic rules. No human will be able to check on any law or statute faster.
A machine would have no bias, but wait, the machine was made by man.))
