When Bob Beckel was on The Five he said:
“… that there is a sort of subtle under the surface sense among some people in the White House community, not the police have evidence in the white community, that makes it uncomfortable for the black,…But we are gonna have to have that conversation at some point and it’s gonna get to the heart of families.”
And in my opinion here is the problem. Everyone of any race would resent anyone getting something because of what their skin color is, if they are also not getting it. We have said to the black people you are to dense to get the marks needed in school, so we created affirmative action. (A true story, I a white male once asked a black male what the answer to a test we were taking, yes I cheated, and holy sh*t the black guy knew the answer, WOW imagine that they also have brains). So it goes on and on with welfare programs, food stamps, etc. Everyone thinks that anyone who takes this is trash and trash comes in all colors, but I hope the majority are TRULY needy and not taking advantage of the system.
So when will this race war end?
I think the start has to come from the blacks, (which is not really the start because we also voted for Obama, a resounding yes, why can’t a black man do it?). But unfortunately the wrong black man. So back to the solution. If I was a black man this is how I would handle it. Every time I saw a person acting the way they shouldn’t (oh, by the way I am standing up to applaud Charles Barkley’s comments on Ferguson. “Them (expletive) who are looting. Those aren’t real black people, those are scumbags. We have to be really careful with the cops man, because if it wasn’t for the cops we would be living in the Wild, Wild West in our neighborhoods”. So, I would create a flash mob of all like minded blacks, who better understand what is happening, and meet up with all who, lets say need guidance and straighten them out.
I would condemn Al Sharpton, Eric Holder and yes our President and anyone else connected to their way of thinking and let them hear the cries of the black people who I would be proud to call my friends and I would put my back to theirs in any fight. This is when all people of all races will see that the black people should be treated just like everyone else. The tragedy of this whole thing is your own people are using you and derailing your progress. Don’t let them win! Ferguson type riots put black people back years if not decades. There also can never be any other excuse why a black person should get something free. If only truly, necessary private donations (from prominent blacks) to help the young grow up with some hope for their future, but not on the backs of other people. This will never end until everyone in the world sees that you are fully self sufficient and don’t need a handout.
How proud would you be then?
This has to happen the minute I finish this article. It is too late already, but the longer you wait the more years go by that leave black people in this position. I was standing on a corner one day next to a elderly white women and approximately 4 black kids maybe 8-12 yrs old came up next to us waiting for a light. Their conversation was hard to understand because there was every curse word you could think of, making it hard to understand what they were saying. The womens mouth dropped to the floor. So i turned to them and said hey guys cool it and I made a gesture to the older woman. Well they looked at me perplexed like what was the problem. Another time I saw a women with a couple of kids and she was cursing at them and telling them she was going to smack them upside the head (I guess that phrase is still being used). This is the tragedy of the lack of guidance of a proper parent/guardian figure that all kids need. And you can’t blame the mother who acted the way she did because chances are she wasn’t shown the way to act in front of her kids or in general.
This is the Black Domino effect, one person influences the other badly and the next in line react the same way, and on and on. Being tossed to the ground, all you have to do is sit and watch, it happens all the time. Of course some dominos don’t fall they step out of line a little from their family and friends and those hopefully are the ones that make themselves something. Now in case you are wondering there is a white domino effect too!
These are ugly facts and I am sure it hurts to hear it, probably more so because I am a white guy. But guys this is the truth, and if I was a black male I would beg people like I just mentioned to please dont act like that, maybe like my father said to us “Hey talk nice” my father wasn’t educated either, but his family taught him respect. And as Aretha Franklins (my wifes favorite) song “Respect”, “All I’m askin’ Is for a little respect” this is all we really need.))
