We are brought up (at least some of us) to behave properly, be polite, do unto others as you would like? or whatever that phrase is. So when we hear Donald Trump calling people names it seems really wrong. But maybe its because of how he looks.
Mr. Trump is always dressed neatly in a business suit, presentable to all walks of life. He is a successful business man, wait I can hear him say a SUPER successful business man. So it seems really odd when he steps on the other side of the fence and starts talking like a ________ (you fill it in).
He has mixed with many people in his business life, Construction workers, CEO’s, Unions, Government bureaucracy, Mayors, Governors, etc. Most people know him more in “The Apprentice” a great concept in a show where you take people out of their normal life and find out how well they can accomplish a given task, that is most of the time far away from their expertise. And now a politician (even though he didn’t use it as his job description on jury duty), yes you are trying to be a politician, but a very different one.
We are too used to the born and bred politician. The “don’t point”, kiss a baby, eat the local food even if your going to puke, manipulate your words to accommodate the locale your in, try not to offend anyone, have a wife and two and a half kids, smile, smile and smile.
So Donald doesn’t fit the mold and that is what freaks out the established political machine.
From all the candidates he is fighting against (gotta give kudos to Chris Christie though, the poor man’s Trump who really had the first political big mouth, or was it N.Y. Mayor Ed Koch?) and all the media pundits and talk show hosts who find it uncomfortable to hear a politician screaming at Rosie O’Donnell.
This man is incredibly resourceful. He is the ultimate chameleon, changing like in “The Apprentice” finding out the solution no matter what the challenge is. His hands are in Stocks, Sports, Beauty Pageants, a Model Agency, Golf Courses, Hotels, Office Buildings, Publishing (The Art of the Deal), Charities, etc. This man is NOT a “Jack of all trades, master of none”, but a master of not wanting to fail, yes 4 Business bankruptcies, (which really was more like restructuring his problem with the laws of the land and landing on his feet type bankruptcy.) What you haven’t failed?
Ego is good, it keeps you on top of the class, even if not the top in the Wharton School of Business, but I bet he has done better than a lot of his classmates.
For blogging out loud)) if there is one place that we need someone who can handle changing situations, it is in the Presidency of the United States. The ultimate crown for even Donald Trump.
So Donald has once again transformed, and is doing remarkably well. But the question is can all of us change and accept someone who may act differently, and be the President of the United States that we need today.))
