What is the HIIEF?
Well, currently it is an idea.
What if we found a small group of truly compassionate 1 percenters that rely on the other 99 percent to produce their product. Like the Hollywood movie community with stars and celebrities, that along with their acceptance speech throw in another award deserving political speech that shapes the way people think. The Hollywood movie community is rather small in comparison to the national population. Which makes it a perfect place to try out our HIIEF.
Maybe along with Hollywood, we should include the Music industry since they seem to be in sync with Hollywood.
Now I want to be upfront on how I feel about Hollywood and the Music industry. I, like most of us, have grown up watching some superhero, beautiful or handsome actor doing their thing to portray someone, that chances are we will never be. Or listening to a song and matching it with a time in my life. For me, there is nothing like your imagination. And the marriage of a great musical score with a memorable movie scene is what has made these industries so magical.
It wakes up our imagination, gives us a chance to veg out and forget our life. Something very necessary in our world.
That makes me wonder why they are blurring the line between fantasy and reality. It seems that more and more celebrities and stars want to become more real, more like us, they speak of racism, politics and income inequality. The subjects that are filling our life’s more than ever.
Coming off of eight years under Obama and the left’s wish of continuing it under Hillary Clinton, the left is very unhappy. I guess they were wishing that we would find utopia and redistribute wealth more appropriately. But maybe all of the nation is to big an experiment for this thinking.
So how can this HIIEF work?
Let’s say a movie grosses $100,000,000 in the theaters for U.S. Domestically. Now add in international theatrical, domestic TV, merchandising, etc., and we’re Looking at $400,000,000
The Hollywood Experiment is based on the idea that X amount of people are needed to create this product. This product brings in $400 million so divide that by the average 588 people who work on our example film. That comes out to be $680,272. per person. Now per person that is a great number. This, of course, includes the main star of the movie down to the lowest rung on the ladder person. Now they are equal to us. Well, actually they are still far superior pay wise to the average worker.
Now when you see the compassion that stars show for their fellow workers is it any wonder that they would go along with helping out their fellow Americans. So we introduce the HIIEF, the Hollywood Income Inequality Experiment Foundation. A true foundation that actually gives 95% of their money. This foundation is generously given (by our stars) 40% of that $400mil., equaling $160,000,000 dollars that will be for various causes.
Which brings down the $680,272. per person to a still spectacular $408,163 per person. Falling just short of the $434,682. to be in the 1 percent, so I guess in the 2 percent of Americans. For blogging out loud)) I’ll take it any day.
The HIIEF Foundation would support these suggested causes that are for citizens of the United States
Homes for Veterans
Homes for Disabled Law Enforcement
Homes for Homeless Children
Care for the elderly
St. Judes Children Research Hospital
The Motion Picture & Television Country House and Hospital
And certainly not last the ASPCA
As time goes by and if the system works we can extend it to people legally coming into the United States.
This can be in the form of English classes, Job training and anything that can help them quickly become a productive tax paying citizen of the United States of America.
We are looking at Hollywood and the Music industry because there is a boatload of money there and could function in this way IF they want to. They can try it for just one year and see how it works. Let’s suggest it to them by Tweeting this stories link.
These charts will give us a little bit of perspective on our movies economy.
This is an opportunity for celebrities to put their money where their mouth is. And show the stinking capitalists how it should really work.
So if you have the opportunity to march with and be near your favorite celebrity, pass along this idea. It’s the American thing to do.))
