*Note, this article is bits and pieces of ideas, a true work in progress, our apologies for that, but Rome wasn’t built in a day. Blue type is most recent. Italicized type is the previously added type. Have a constructive idea please contact us.
Journalists have a very important job. We are supposed to depend on them for the facts. But we can’t anymore and the blame is all theirs. A financial example is how a TV host will talk about a stock and shift the market to benefit the big fish and make chum of us little fish. A PC example is how they skip telling us the biggest clue to who the criminal may be by not telling us their skin color. Political honesty? Election 2016 enough said.
So it can cost us money, allow criminals to possibly continue their murderous spree or shift the direction of a country.
Journalists took advantage of our naïveté. We trusted the printed page, thought a news anchor wouldn’t be lying. So what are we going to do slap them on their lying typing fingers and forgive them? No, they killed our trust, we are a scorned reader/viewership.
There has to be a severe enough consequence that straightens them out, otherwise, they will never change. Deciding what penalty to impose won’t be as hard as when to.
We need a very obvious division between fact and opinion to be shown in all articles and on the screen. News broadcasts will show the Universal UN-Editable Facts while the opinion is said. We are very used to banners on the bottom of the TV screen so that would be perfect, scrolling is possible if needed.
BUT this must be carefully monitored with a fine tooth comb. Maybe a new private company that gets fined by the government every time they slip up passing 50% of the penalty to AP or whoever it would be and highly publicized with 3 strikes and your out rule.
This way no matter where you get your news we all know the facts and where we go determines your point of view. This will avoid the influence of “putting sauce on the story” like my Mother says.
I would do that on for blogging out loud)) if I could, but until we have a system that we can depend on, we will do our best to give you enough sources for you to make up your own mind.
Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts. – Daniel Patrick Moynihan
Every story has facts. It’s just that we are misdirected to believe the opinions of the story. We have to get back to REAL FACTUAL NEWS!
So how can we do this…
First the Article/Opinion area where the sauce is laid on. My sauce has no garlic, not spicy like those other guys or girls. And you come here because this is what you like. Truthful and not PC correct. But you always have at hand the FACTS, so there is a clear distinction between what I am feeding you.
Then the FACTS
Every news source will share this information and will NOT be able to edit this section AT ALL so it looks and is the same for every source. The viewer can optionally push a button to confirm a registered user. This section will be pulled from the cloud so that every registered user can embed it into their stories. Now the obvious point of “registered users” will trigger the MSM into thinking that we can limit the little voices and make them seem like unreliable because they don’t have the credentials to use this service. Well, this is where the democracy of news must stay open like open source software. What is wrong with anyone like us showing the FACTS? Competition to the conglomerates.
See the UUEF below between the two lines. Although we are having fun with it, you get the idea and the facts.
The UUEF accepts addendums 24/7 and is posted immediately. This is the only way this area is edited.
You may notice it changing as you are reading it. No, your not hacked, but you have witnessed the immediacy of the UUEF as reporters add new facts. Knowing that you are being kept up to date as quickly as possible.
Look for the same story on another media outlet and you will see this exact area (between the two lines). Ensuring that all media are giving you the SAME facts.
⚡️SUGGESTIONS (SENT IN):
⚡️There was a poll that Brad Parscale took asking if people want to have the facts separated from the opinion and surprising to me the majority 91% want it separate.
Now it seems pretty crazy for me to go against a poll that says I’m wrong. But no one has solved the problem, so who’s wrong?
To me this is akin to not seeing a movie or reading a book because you read a review. You have to have the facts first, for You to form Your opinion.
On top of that I betcha the 91% of people would never spend the time to read two different articles on one give subject.
Most people have very little time, so it makes sense to have a one stop article where they can make sense of the world.
As shown in this article it is Very easy to find the facts in the UUEF area. One can go directly there if they only have time for the facts, or if they appreciate the journalists opinion they can read the rest of the article.
Having any of this separate will only lead to further dumbing down the reader.
FACT is King, but a smart King listens to the Queens opinion and makes his decision.
The process I am proposing doesn’t rely on combining opinion with fact. It will control Fake News either way, it’s just my suggestion.
There is a way out of this, someone know Brad?
The onus of responsibility is on the reporter/news organization, as it should be. As time goes on we will be able to sort by reporter and or news organization in order to evaluate their honesty, with a numerical ranking system.
The above paragraph alone should help keep everyone honest, it’s like handing a report card to very strict parents, make that citizens.
We must DEMAND that the news we are being fed is the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I am purposely using that phrase as used in a court of law, because we need it to be made illegal to misrepresent the facts.
⚡️Someone brought up the FCC stance. – ” The FCC may act to protect the public interest when it has received documented evidence, such as testimony from persons who have direct personal knowledge of an intentional falsification of the news. Without such documented evidence, the FCC generally cannot intervene.”
Here’s the issue with using the FCC legal options open to us. This is the FCC’s way out, which has to be changed. With this requirement the FCC is failing the citizens of the U.S. and only allowing large corporations the slightest chance of challenging all the lawyers that the left (Soros and his cohorts) has and the $18 billion dollars he gave to the Open Society Foundations.
In case you didn’t know George Soros has been influencing media like NPR (National Public Radio) since the late 90’s as found out by Project Veritas.
The news is to inform us of the FACTS. Given the individual citizens capability of challenging the news, we are left up to the government telling us we are not as important as the companies. So the FCC leaves us with a “he said, she said” argument that is an endless loop and doesn’t care about the chronic problem.
⚡️Here’s something interesting, but…
Bill Crovitz is looking for $6 million to start News Guard, but their model relies on people (built in bias, old world model) and look at what the people said…
“What’s green, I asked them in a phone interview Sunday?” Green referring to a red yellow green light rating.
“When News Guard looks at Fox News, what color will it see?”
“We’re not going to comment on anything in particular,” says Brill. “And there are two reasons. One, it would be stupid. The second is, it involves reading the actual foxnews.com site, which I haven’t done that much of, and our vetters certainly haven’t done that much of.”
Gee, there’s no bias there, is there?
⚡️End of SUGGESTIONS
So this is where we take a hint from ants, termites or bees. Alone they are almost ignored, as a group, they demand attention. So I, Joe Blow, am a weakling, but the 300+ million of us HAVE to be dealt with. In essence we are the largest corporation in the world and this corporation has these politicians as employees. They work for US!
Fake News can create crime, look at “Hands Up”.
Fake News can change the course of a Presidential Election.
Fake News can alter home values.
Fake News can come in the shape of a search engine, as Google did with hiding Hillary Clinton facts.
Fake News can be staged as we have seen CNN setting up a shot as if it’s a movie, not news gathering.
It’s not wrong to ask for the FACTS, it is wrong to read what is supposed to be the FACTS.
PLACEMENT and DESIGN
The UUEF may live at the bottom, so it’s minimally invasive to the design of the page. It will also serve as a way to encourage the people to see the whole article by searching for the facts. Additionally a complete scroll is valuable for advertising revenue.
The design of the UUEF Fact area will carry very specific proportions and will utilize the latest technology to avoid counterfeit use. If a discrepancy is found a notice will be sent to the offending website and posted on the UUEF site so all can see who attempted to create Fake News. Today’s technology can search the web and find any that mimic the original UUEF document.
When time constraints limit editing, full unedited transcript link must be shown.
First reporter on scene contacts the UUEF (Universal UNEditable Fact) repository and gives facts known at that time. Immediately it is put on the cloud for all media to post AS IS (this cannot be edited by ANYONE). First, come first credited as well as time/date stamped. As new facts come in they are added to new or same persons credit. The situation is the same as now, like when media quotes where the story came from.
Large media organizations will help fund the UUEF thru a service fee with the idea that they want Factual news (sorely needed PR for the media) along with the public. It is their commitment to “Real News” that will give them credibility that they have lost. ALL funding and service fees will be 100% transparent displayed on the UUEF website.
The service will not slow down the process at all, for instance, but not limited to, a text message to the reporter’s organization will be a group message with the exact info to the UUEF. This will allow media to carry on how they always have.
This process will provide a roadmap/timeline of the facts for all to see.
There are some details to work out, but none consequential. However I am leaving out a crucial piece that I cannot release until I have the proper people interested.
IN A NUTSHELL
• Facts are sent to the UUEF repository and News Organization
• A Chronological Roadmap/Timeline is created
• History of reporters facts are easily evaluated
• Reporters/News Organizations are graded according to accurate reporting
• Database is available to all, allowing honest reporting to stand out
How this type of thing can be implemented will have as many opinions as there are TV channels. But this is one of the most important things we are facing in this new news gathering world.))
*Particulars of the plan are being worked on and will be posted when possible.
