We celebrate Flag Day on June 14th each year to honor the United States flag and to commemorate the flag’s adoption. On the same day, the United States Army celebrates its birthday.
For blogging out loud)), it is still legal to burn our flag.
It was illegal up to 1989, when the Supreme Court ruled 5 to 4 in Texas v. Johnson that burning the flag is a form of symbolic speech protected by the First Amendment.))
